Signed First Editions Children’s Book Club

About the Children's & Teen Signed First Editions

In 2011, members of our Signed First Editions Club received two American Library Association award winners (Randolph Caldecott Medalist A Ball for Daisy by Chris Raschka and Robert F. Sibert Informational Book Award winner Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet). Would you like the chance to have a signed first edition of next year’s award winners? You can sign up to have a first edition, first printing of a newly released children’s picture book delivered each month directly to your - or another collector’s - doorstep or you can pick up your book at the store. You may choose to enroll in the program for six or twelve months at a time, or enroll indefinitely.

There is no enrollment fee. The cost of each book ($30 or less, including shipping) is the only charge and will be processed every month when the books arrive at Politics & Prose. You may choose to have us cover your book with an archival book cover for an extra $1.50. P&P members will receive 20% off all selections.

If you are not currently a member, we encourage you to register for membership. You will save in the long run, and also receive all of the other member benefits - discounts on bestsellers, author event books, our notifications of the events by mail and email, the opportunity to participate in our four annual storewide member sales, and other discount promotions.
